As an Instructional Designer, you will have the opportunity to design, implement, and enhance engaging learning materials and programs, collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders across various time zones. Your focus will be on crafting tailored learning paths for sales, success, and service teams, as well as partners and clients, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive needs analyses in collaboration with stakeholders to identify learning requirements and performance gaps.
- Design and produce interactive and engaging instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and multimedia content, adhering to best practices in instructional design.
- Develop clear and engaging content utilizing authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate, aligned with defined learning objectives.
- Implement assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives and leverage feedback and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
- Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals while managing progress and addressing challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure learning solutions meet both organizational needs and business objectives.
- Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions or provide necessary support to facilitators.
Required Skills
- Strong foundation in instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in technical writing and strong communication skills.
- Expertise in project management, with the capability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and authoring tools.
- Understanding of sales methodologies is advantageous.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of instructional design or curriculum development experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPLP) are a plus.
